infinite: the "good" and "good" policy
Thank you, Saviour, who in 28 years you agreed to be a candidate for mayor of Catanzaro!
Thank you, because we do see the "beautiful" and "good" policy, because your application and your presence are bringing a breath of fresh air in our city, because you decided to publicly launch your application from the center of social Orangery district, because so many young people and others, are rediscovering - thank you - the taste and sense of politics, which perhaps had lost because too disappointed, deceived, set aside and derided in their ideals.
I am convinced that your candidacy for mayor of Catanzaro is an opportunity that can not be completely wasted! It 's very difficult today to engage people in a commitment to the common good and to the political commitment, but it's hard to even think of picking up their lives, given the many constraints more or less hidden, more or less heavy (think about the critical shortage of labor and work "free"). There is too much mistrust in a change that never comes. It has lost the idea that change can and must only come from ourselves and from our daily work with others. The common belief now is that the levers of power are always the usual hand. I am convinced that your application has in itself so many elements to start a turnaround and catalyst for young people in particular (but not only) in a virtuoso movement to help recover the sense of being together in solidarity in our city and responsible and discover the generous commitment to the common good.
E 'important, however, that the change is not just a facade: that you put your face clean in the field because everything remains as before! I'm not saying this to spoil the party, but because this occasion, perhaps unique, can not be wasted.
should really come out divider from the logic of the old politics. It 'just that this occasion, we ask ourselves: Who made the list? those who choose the candidates? by what criteria? We must have the courage to actually share the decisions, leaving out certain logical padrinaggio. Well, perhaps just to pass the renewal of the policy here in the city: from start to listen more to the citizens, by speaking publicly of public affairs, of forming real processes of sharing decisions which affect all, from setting priorities with the citizens the operations of government, from discussing in a public and transparent municipal budgets.
These days, in recent weeks e. .. (I will pray with all my heart) in the coming years as Mayor of Catanzaro you can not and will not have quite the same regardless of what you wrote,
" ... Why the parties, beginning with local, do not raise any issue of how to ensure that at least their direct representatives are among the most presentable, bright and deserving of the community? Because they prefer to go unnoticed? I think, beyond all the macro-discourses we can do on Italian politics, the real point is how to get started and to reconstruct the sections that allow themselves to contaminate the local energies and particularly by the best ones. How to get to make the laboratories that work on priority issues constants for local development and national, regardless of the time of the eternal election campaigns. As of yet to ensure that secretaries, administrators and local elected representatives, do make proud those who listen and see them work, to see what products the most authentic and vibrant community. Why have ideas for development, because they speak and express themselves clearly, because in their eyes an endless passion ... "(" Letters from the border "No 7, www.associazioneulixes.org ).
